About the Home Owners Association (HOA):
An HOA exists to enhance the community and to protect property values. To this end, the Board of Directors accomplish three tasks:
Manage and maintain common areas.
Oversee finances. (see meeting minutes for up to date financial balances)
Ensure compliance with all ordinances, CC&R's and covenants, and by laws.
This year's annual HOA meeting will be held on May 23rd at 11:30 AM at Mary and Larry's barn. This is the metal building with the flowers painted on it at the entrance to Oak Roads. The rain date for the meeting is the 24th at the same time and place.
The meeting will be followed by a potluck lunch at noon. Pulled pork sandwiches will be provided, as will water. Please bring any other beverages you would like drink as well as chairs to sit on. Folks with last names starting with A-M are encouraged to bring a desert for the potluck, and people with last names starting with N-Z are encouraged to bring a side dish (please note this is a change from the initial posting about the meeting).
